Join us for an evening of revelry and ecstatic expression through the embodiment of the wildest women of mythology, the maenads. As followers of Dionysos, the original partier and protector of those that live on the fringes of society, the maenads worship him through ritual madness and unfettered expression that opens them to ecstatic states across the spectrum of emotions.
Archetypal embodiment is a powerful ancient practice that allows us to call forward parts of ourselves that may have been pushed into the shadows, but are incredibly important aspects that can help us to create a life of greater wholeness. With the Solstice around the corner, this is a celebration to support women to tap into the abundant energies of the wheel of the year, call forward their primordial essence, and nourish abundance within.
***For those who desire, we will be connecting with the sacrament of a microdose of mushrooms for this event to help us truly dive deeply into extra ordinary consciousness as we connect (please message me if you have any questions about this)***
This is for you if:
You are ready to practice dropping needing to feel performative or sexy in front of others and instead to move freely as you.
You want to practice embodying the fierce and wild energy of the maenad to nourish your life and creative endeavors.
You want to celebrate the Solstice by diving into the creation energies of the season in sisterhood.
You are ready to kick those creative blocks to the curb!
You want to commune with sacred plant medicine in an intentionally held, women-only container.
For the flow of the night, we will be building a foundation of trust, connection and permission within our group by first tuning into our own center to then move into connection with others. We’ll begin with an opening ceremony and either imbibe or energetically connect with the sacrament. From there, through guided meditation and movement, we will open to the energy of the maenad and gradually build into the wild range of expression and ecstatic dance. We will close with a circle for integration of the experience.

To create a safe container, please arrive with plenty of time as the doors will be closed and locked at 6:00 PM when we begin the opening ceremony. No exceptions.

Meet Your Facilitators
Christina Sabella
Christina is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine (licensed both in California and Nationally), an Addiction Recovery and Psycho-spiritual Integration Coach, certified by Being True to You. She is also a Reiki Master, and Ordained Priestess and spiritual guide with the lineage of Her Holy Temple. Christina offers private Acupuncture, Coaching and Reiki healing sessions, development of spiritual techniques, and Reiki classes regularly. She facilitates sacred circles, and Psychedelic journeys, to help people transform themselves, heal, and dive deeply within to foster a greater understanding of themselves, and the world.
Katelyn Colia
Katelyn Colia is a Psycho-Spiritual & Somatic Guide whose mission in life is to take the “ow” out of shadow work and support others in reconnecting to the naturalness of their bodies, the vast creativity of their psyches, and defining their unique spirituality so they can become more intimate and nourished by life. She is certified in Leadership & Transformational Life Coaching through Sofia University, Somatic Embodiment and Regulation Strategies by Collectively Rooted, Ceremonialist in ritual dance, and ordained as a Reverend Priestess and Spiritual Counselor. Her work is built upon a breadth of philosophies, systems and modalities that support the belief that we each have the power within us to heal ourselves, including, depth psychology, somatics, ritual dance, energy healing, western tantra & sacred sexuality, and ceremonial practices to induce non-ordinary states of consciousness.
