How To Change Your Mind On Cannabis

  • Ganja Yoga Santa Cruz 738 Chestnut Street Santa Cruz, CA, 95060 United States (map)

As part of our monthly Psychedelic First Friday event, the Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society is excited to have a conversation with Seba & Javi entitled: "How To Change Your Mind On Cannabis."

One of my favorite things about Michael Pollan’s book on psychedelics is the title. It's quite magical how these plant medicines and compounds can substantially help us "change our minds". When it comes to Cannabis being psychedelic, opinions vary widely. Some people feel that compared to tryptamines, Cannabis is a mild experience, while others have run into deep somatic release accompanied by wild synesthesia and visuals.

In this talk, Javi and Seba will share their experience in working with Cannabis as a Psychedelic. Covering some of the practices around intentional cannabis use, the range of experiences, recent research and how to best navigate it all. There will be space to bring questions.

On Sunday April 14th, Green Magic Yoga will be offering a Conscious Cannabis Circle in Santa Cruz and Online. In this workshop we invite seasoned psychonauts as well as those new to medicine work to explore your relationship with this plant medicine and it's effect on your body and mind. We will provide guidance around mindful journeywork practices.

Spots are limited and RSVP required. More details here.
