James Fadiman, PhD is a revered elder in the psychedelic community and a pioneering expert in the field. His insights have shaped modern understanding of psychedelics and personal development. As an accomplished author, Fadiman's influential works include "The Psychedelic Explorer's Guide," and "Your Symphony of Selves."

Rachael Henrichsen, L.Ac is a seasoned practitioner with over 25 years of experience in traditional medicine and internal cultivation. She combines expertise in meditation, herbal medicine, and acupuncture to provide care for patients in her private practice. Internationally recognized as a Lopön of the Tibetan Bon tradition, she teaches meditation and offers view teachings on Asian philosophy, history, and religion. Rachael advocates for the recognition of the multivalent benefits of microdosing, meditation, and herbal medicine.

About James Fadiman PhD

James Fadiman, with a BA from Harvard and an MA and PhD from Stanford, and introduced to psychedelics by his undergraduate mentor, Richard Alpert (later, Ram Dass), began his psychedelic research in the 1960’s. He ran his own management-consulting firm, helped found a still functioning commune in New Mexico, managed 20,000 acres of timberland in Mississippi, and taught Psychology at San Francisco State, Sonoma State and Brandeis universities and worked in the Counseling Center and taught in Design Engineering at Stanford. He co-authored a textbook, Personality and Personal Growth, now in its 7th edition (with Robert Frager), has written professional books, a self-help book, a psychedelic novel, The Other Side of Haight and The Psychedelic Explorer’s Guide: Safe, Therapeutic, and Sacred Journeys.

He also had a play produced, had several solo photography exhibitions, and is a founder of Transpersonal Psychology and co-founder of The Institute for Transpersonal Psychology, (now Sofia University). His last book (with Jordan Gruber), Your Symphony of Selves: Discover and Understand More of Who We Are, is an observational study of healthy inner multiplicity. He has been called “the father of modern microdosing” for his early creation and research into the first effective clinical and wellness microdosing protocols. He and Jordan have completed a book, Essential Microdosing, to be published in 2025). He has consulted and advised myriad psychedelic companies and done a number of podcasts. He is married to a gifted social activist filmmaker. His two small rescue dogs approve this bio.

About Rachael Henrichsen,  MTCM,  LAc, Dipl. OM NCCAOM, Lopön

Residing in Santa Cruz, CA and nurturing her private practice, Red Gate Integrative Medicine brings her great joy.  She holds a Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, a spiritual degree (equivalent to a M.A.) as a Lopön (teacher) of the Tibetan Bön, and a certification to teach Tibetan Buddhist Meditation from the Buddhist Studies Institute where she is the manager of the Meditation Instructor Training Program. She is an associate professor of Daoist Cosmology at the Golden Gate School of Feng Shui and a member of the faculty of Five Branches University of Chinese Medicine.  Internationally, she teaches from experience from her years of continued study with teachers of Tantric Buddhist, Bön, Chan, Daoist, and Zen traditional practices that include history, meditation, ritual, astrology, medicine, chado (the Way of Tea), and divination.

She is an herbalist, gardener, zymologist, and pioneer of adaptogenic herbal medicine formulas including a restorative tonic, “The Fizzy Drink”.  Her interest and dedication toward the preservation, protection, and practice of living wisdom traditions is deeply rooted in her experience of their benefit for personal and societal health. She has been an advocate for the safe use of psychedelics and a speaker at esteemed retreats like Esalen—teaching about the potential for profound healing when psychedelics are used in a way that incorporates other healing traditions like meditation and herbal medicine.  She believes that ancient teachings passed on to us are a reminder of the beauty and variety of human wisdom that has been discovered and shared to support us in our path of  physical, emotional, and mental health.  Rachael's sweet rescue cat approves this bio.



About the Musician Jazz LeiAmora

Jazz was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a multi instrumentalist, she is able to fuse music from across genres of soul, R&B, devotional mantra music and medicine music. Using a variety of instruments ranging from piano, guitar, harp, kalimba, harmonium, crystal singing bowls, and gongs. She currently resides in Santa Cruz, CA. LeiAmora.com


About the Visionary Artist Rachel Corvese

Rachel Corvese is a central California native, creating large scale murals and small scale fine art pieces in acrylic and oil paints. She finds inspiration in nature, community, and philosophy. Expression is her form of spirituality. Her energetically-charged visions empower her community to explore connections and always be a student of life. Rachel recently opened The Vision Sanctuary, a downtown Santa Cruz gallery and community fine art studio where you can experience and learn about the Visionary art movement.
