What exactly is mindfulness? In this four-week course, we will explore mindfulness as it relates to the body, the mind, and emotions. Learning to be with our direct experience is a foundational practice that can support daily life as well as other practices like yoga, dance, and journeys in altered states. This simple practice cultivates awareness and deepens our capacity to be present.
Whether you are new to meditation, want to get back to practicing, or are an experienced practitioner who would like to revisit the foundations, this course will meet you where you’re at. All are welcome! Meditating in community is palpable and supportive in developing a personal practice.
Although this is an introductory course, these practices are foundational and appropriate for all experience levels. The four sessions build on each other, but you are welcome to join at any point over the four weeks. Register below for the entire course or each week.
