Join Val Corral and Alec Dixon in a conversation around Death, Dying Cannabis and Psychedelics. This talk is part of our monthly Psychedelic First Friday event, hosted by the Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society and Green Magic Yoga.

About Val Corral

Valerie Leveroni Corral, after surviving a severe car accident in 1973 that led to epilepsy and debilitating migraines, found solace and healing in cannabis, a path that pharmaceuticals couldn’t provide. This discovery led her and her partner to found the Wo/men’s Alliance for Medical Marijuana (WAMM), pioneering the therapeutic use of cannabis and providing compassionate access to those in serious health and end-of-life care. A key figure in legalizing medical cannabis in California through Proposition 215, Valerie’s work transcends advocacy, focusing on community, dignity in dying, and holistic care. Her launch of WAMM Phytotherapies in 2020 continues her mission, ensuring those in need have access to therapeutic-quality cannabis, emphasizing not just healing but a compassionate approach to the journey of life and its end.
