Join Pajé Penó of the Noke Koî Nation for prayer songs and healing with sacred Amazonian tobacco Romé Potó, alongside musician Karine Garcia.
Pajé Penó of the Noke Koî Nation will be offering prayer songs and healing with the tobacco plant and the sacred technologies from the amazonian rainforests in the form of Romé Potó (Rapeh). Pajé will share his blessings while being accompanied by his Wife Karine 'Varî' Garcia and their host in the Santa Cruz Redwood Forest, Mark Murphy.
Pajé will share in a wisdom talk reflecting on the traditions of his people, their work with sacred visionary plants, and the challenges his community faces in preserving their culture. Our discussion will be followed by an offering of Romé Potó to those who wish to receive.
Romé Potó is a blend of wild amazonian tobacco mixed with the ashes from the bark, branches, leaves, and seeds of trees and plants within the forest that the Tribes revere as sacred teachers and guardians of the entire Amazon. Romé is both grounding and clarifying, working to dispel dense energies with embodied presence, and open connection to and with Spirit. Romé Potó is a technological tool, teacher, and plant guardian of many Tribes.
This is an opportunity to experience the Wisdom of the Forest directly.
The Cantos (Songs) we will be offering are both prayers from the tribe and originals that have come from works with the medicinal plants and sacred technologies of the Amazon Rainforest; The gathering is a coming together in sharing of sacred songs, dance, and celebrations of Life.
Receiving the offering of Romé is optional while all are welcome to receive the blessings and prayers that we share together.
Additionally there will be an art market where attendees will be able to purchase crafts Pajé & Karine are carrying.
