Tell Your Psychedelic Story, a workshop with Mareesa Stertz

  • Alma Yoga Studio 738 Chestnut Street Santa Cruz, CA, 95060 United States (map)

Do you feel called to share your experiences with psychedelics but not sure where or how to start?

At a time when most of humanity is struggling to wrap their brains around just exactly what psychedelics do and how they can help us, your well-told story about the ineffable might just make a world of impact.

Defining your story and sharing it with others can help you connect with others on the path and also potential clients who resonate with your offerings. The power of a well-told story can move mountains, but the art of storytelling is a craft unto itself. This workshop is designed to help you frame your most transformative psychedelic experiences into a compelling story that will help  friends/family, future clients, and even investors understand the impact of psychedelics, and why it should matter to them.

This October 21st, join Mareesa Stertz at Alma Yoga Studio for this engaging talk and workshop. Tickets $20, Sliding Scale and Discounts available, you can use promo code 50OFFGMY at the checkout for a 50% off. For other discounts email javi@greenmagicyoga.com no turned away for lack of funds.

Mareesa Stertz is a professional storyteller, cofounder at Lucid News, Director of Development at the Global Psychedelic Society, and a filmmaker who's created the documentary series, “The Healing Powers of Psychedelics and Other Mindful Practices” as well as directed/produced the feature film “Damanhur; the Documentary,” both currently streaming on Gaia TV.
Her films and work in storytelling focus on bringing awareness to the impacts of trauma, the power of psychedelics to address it, and is part of a mission to celebrate the healing journey; which has taken her around the world, filming documentaries with the curanderos of Peru to the holy men of India.  She has shared her stories of working with psychedelics on stages internationally, in education, and currently teaches storytelling workshops at retreats, online, and for psychedelic conferences.
